Pic 11 I just took this. (about 6pm here, on Friday) It is currently 105º here…. I sure hope these chicks survive this heat. At least the parents are still tending to the food. I watched the chick take the worm, then go down in to the nest. Sure, the bird was interesting, but he really should have paid more attention to what was coming up behind him. Unfortunately for Willie “The Birdman” Whiters, it would be the last mistake he would ever make. I just finished this one up last night. Overall, I’m fairly pleased with it.
