The entering of a new era… the Old district of St. John’s is overtaken by the new architecture of this era. The pigeon in the foreground seems to emphasize the character and timlessness of Old St. John’s. / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / Canon Rebel / / 3 shots merged in Photomatix and cs3 to touch it up

Taken in the city (Melbourne). This man took a moment to send a message and didn’t even notice the little bird quietly sitting beside him
digital mixed media. drawings and photos collaged together, then photoshopped (is that an verb?). sometimes the lines between the dream world and real life becomes hazy. It is almost a moment of clarity when we realize that our conscious mind and inner thoughts are a continuous part of our life experience.
Found this lurking in a hard drive. Taken from the Eureka tower last year just before they banned cameras in ‘The Edge’ – a glass ‘box’ that extends out from the top floor and hangs over the city 92 floors below. This image was taken through the floor of ‘The Edge’. I adjusted the levels aggressively and burned the reflections of the people to make them stand out more. /

Skyscraper of Dubai and birds of Abu Dhabi
Taken in Alderley, Brisbane, Queensland Australia. / I’d like to thank the crow for dropping in and posing for me. / The style of this image borrows heavily from the work of Adrian Donoghue. Adrian’s intriguing and beautiful images are a constant source of inspiration for me and many others. Please view his portfolio here
This is my first attempt at creating the tilt shift effect in Photoshop. Best viewed large This is the Trocadero, Paris, capital city of France. I took this from the top of the Eiffel Tower. The Trocadero is one of the few vantage points where the Eiffel Tower can be seen in full view. I don’t have many ariel view shots in my collection of photos, but this one thankfully served as a good image for this particular effect. For details on how I created this, please see here. Anyone who has photoshop or a photo editing program can do this. Adjustment of hue saturation and brightness, increase and adjustment of curves to increase contrast and colour further. Slight crop of original shot, as seen below. Couldn’t resist adding this after pmistric brought it to my attention. Its the sing-a-long version!!: MCN:C7XFY-U98AX-BYVB6
