Pastel on Colourfix Sanded Paper (Burgundy) – 70cm x 50cm This is another in the series of paintings I did along Hughes Creek at Tarcombe, Victoria, Australia. This is such a beautiful and isolated area! ‘Good Morning Billy Hill’ is the name of the hill in the far distance. I had an energetic climb to my vantage point at around 7.00 a.m. on the most glorious, warm, clear morning. There was a slight mist around. It was a ‘great to be alive’ day! How ya doin, babe? Lenny asked me to pose for you so I’m doing this nude just to make you smile and wish you could bop him in the head for sending you a “public nudie”! I’d have done it in private but I don’t know your email address and I’m not sure an unsolicited nudie of me in the park would go over well with your email server anyway. But, how do you like my pose? Down on “all fours” is so sexy, ya think? I DO need to have someone work on my nails, tho. I’ve been ‘barking up’ some rough trees lately and they really take a toll on my tiny feet! Anyway, I’d best get scurrying along. It’s the early squirrel who gets the freshest nut! Bye and get well soon! Bear, the Squirrel PS Lenny said that ‘early squirrel’ line had to be deleted because humans might take it the wrong way. Well, he can BITE ME, cuz I posed nude and I’m CUTE so I can say anything I want. Hehehehe! BS PPS Lenny said I couldn’t use my initials either. That guy is soooooooooooooo neurotic it ain’t funny. Size: 11×14 inches / Medium: Acrylic / Support: Stretched canvas This is Billy. He has the most amazing eyes. We adopted him about three years ago. For some reason, he had no undercoat. All he had was just a single layer of rough topcoat. His doctor thought that he had some kind of allergy that prevented him from absorbing nutrients. He now has both undercoat and topcoat and gained a lot of weight. Yes, he is one healthy, happy guy!

Based on the lullaby ~ (Mama’s gonna buy you a) mocking bird / I always thought this was a sad little tale so I chose to put my imagination to work and try and put it into pictures. This was one of my first attempts using photo shop and even though it isn’t the best I’m still fond of it!
