  It came just yesterday (packed awesomely) and man is it sweet. I had no real idea as to the quality of the Redbubble printing/mounting/post-production process but now I must say with great confidence that Redbubble do a friggin amazing job! I vainly ordered one of my own prints (Pride the Sin [The Red Edition]) , curious to see how my work would look published and the detail is incredible. I did upload a very high res file but was still happily surprised all the same. I now have to order a tee and see how they come out, thanks Red Bubble!

  In case some of you didn’t know, I am a part of a collective/label called Filthy Panda with fellow pandas Willo and Burnsy. A trio of good mates who share a love for art+design+fashion, we make shirts. And all of our shirts are of course printed by the fine folks at Redbubble, big thanks go to Ed Redman who sorted us out in time for the event! Filthy Panda will be at Shirty07 on SATURDAY, selling their swag and swilling beers. Shirty07 is a new not-for-profit design initiative – a market selling only t-shirts. It’s an event that fuses fashion with art, music with culture; where guests can purchase unique t-shirt designs direct from independent designers, enjoy live music and chill out at the bar with a drink! At least that’s what it says on the flyer, all shirts are capped at $69 so everything is kept accessable. The flyer also says : The first Shirty will be held on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 15TH / Midday 2 Midnight / At the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre / 1 Bedford Street Newtown (opposite the train station) www.shirty07.com Shirty07 will seriously be sick, and you’re all invited!   Hey Everyone! Hows tricks? thanks for reading! Yes i have read a few forums that have somewhat addressed the issue of extending the range available to RedBubble customers, but I have only read forums requesting more options for ladies tees, which I totally agree needs to happen, personally I am a fan of American Apparel™’s Sheer Jersey Girly T w/ Merrow™ Hem. So I am here calling out to all who enjoy a bit more range and diversity when it comes to custom T design. CLICK HERE FOR SAMPLES! (All images property of American Apparel™) These are very basic mockups of potential cuts available from American Apparel™ right now. Contemporary fashion has seen a shift in trend towards the V-neck, largely seen now as a fashionable unisex option whereas in the past it catered more to women’s fashion. Massive in the club scene right now, I believe RedBubble should be capitalising on this trend right now and therefore expanding it’s potential market to the trendy hipsters of the inner city club scene. On another note, diversity and range of customisation is a very desirable option to the fashion-conscience RedBubble customer as it allows for a more individual and personalised product. Comfort also seems to be an issue as some customers of mine have had small gripes about the shirts being too tight around the neck. The V-neck options I have supplied here offer a more comfortable fit for such customers. In terms of co-ordination, the v-neck accompanied by a v-neck cardigan is a very fashionable option. The purpose of this journal entry is simply to generate interest and give those like-minded members of RedBubble a place to voice their opinions and campaign to expand RedBubble’s range of cuts for a wider audience. I feel at this point I must take the time to say that RedBubble offer an extremely efficient service and deliver a consistently high quality product. The printing quality never ceases to amaze, complete strangers always comment on my shirts whenever I am out and about in the city. Customers who I know personally have also commented on the high quality of service that RedBubble offer. Thank you again for reading, all comments and opinions are welcome! Cheers, Billmund. x!
