Playing billards
This is the first issue in a series of 16 images (8 are finished while I type) representing the balls of the pool game. The poolgame series is something I do every few years although I suffer a bit when doing it because it is not so easy to create such a large series and come up with new ideas every time. / But I learnt from my previous attempts! / First I decided to keep the same camera position and angle for all 16 images. Then I take the time to get a feeling for the color and the number of the ball instead of just copying the color and use it for the outfit. / I can hardly explain how this works, but you may know the idea of synaesthetic. So this is the start, the number one, slender and upright and fresh and sporty like yellow. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
The number 2 all dressed in blue. / Two to me is straightforward, a kind of tidy number and blue is a neat and clear color as well. So I decided for the classic blonde bombshell dressed up in squeaky blue. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
The three – red and playful, a perfect number when you have to arange flowers or decorations. Cherries come to my mind, asia of course and the lipstick of a Rockabilly girl… This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
Four, a quarter, another neatly arranged number – and it comes in the most delicate shade of purple or better: violet! Someone said that the 4-girl is the type of “beautiful teacher” – woman, Severe and reservedlybut nevertheless sexy. So I had to add these crazy sandals as a little twist… This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
This fresh and tasty orange of the number 5, it makes me think on summer, sunlotion, tanned skin and feeling free and careless. The pose of the girl loosely picks up the style how the five is displayed on a dice. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
Six – half a dozen, the highest number on the dice, the first round number that looks well when you arrange flowers or other decorations. / And green, a special green, darkended, modest, a difficult color. I had to think a while and then came up with this girl, very slender, flirty but not brazen although barely dressed. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
The eight ball – the “evil eight” that decides over winning or loosing the game. This was easy, the eight is kind of buxom and so I decided for a well rounded girl with that special severe appeal to go with it. And off of this: Shiny latex and a cracking whip – what else?! This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:

Hit me.
Work draw me away from this place but finally I am back again with the rest of the poolgames and some new work! Here’s the number nine, shiny and decorated with lots of squeeky clean white. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
The ten comes all dressed in blue and white. A color combination that always reminds me on vacation on the sea and the smell of freshly washed towels. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
The number 12, my favorite poolball. Purple is a playful and kind of sophisticated color, very self-secure and so an unusual combination of lace and latex worn by a redhead seems perfect to me to represent it. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
14, green and white – fresh and squeeky clean as peppermint. This artwork is available as t-shirt as well:
