  • “love you too, death…” designed by indie artist Eric Murphy of sadmachine.com Copyright 2006-2007.

  • Every year at a small town, well village, well pub and two houses just outside Dublin City and suburbs there was and most probably is a Bikers meeting at the Pub called after the..hamlet, .. Man o’ War. Great name for a bikers meet. There was live music, strippers, big tents, loadsa bikes a fun fair and plenty of booze and gear and other fun stuff like conversation and dancing and removing the hat of a tall biker with a forked beard and living to dance some more. Fred and Analis (the angel) were there from Sweden, as were all the gang from Raheny and Clontarf and not one of us had a motorbike (Joe did but it was a Vespa and he was a Mod, crazy man!). It was a great weekend and it was in 1995 methinks or maybe it was later?

I used my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT with EOS Lens 18 -55. / BEST VIEWED LARGE. This is a dream come true for my husband, his first Harley. I wanted to get a memorable picture of him with his prize. I followed and took several different shots. I took these at dusk up our mountain. I love silhouette’s, and you have to get them quick once the sun is gone. Best to use just the dusk colors. I am so happy I did this, because we had to sell the bike. Maybe someday again if age doesn’t stop us, right now the economy hardship and being on the road with the truck, we decided to sell it to someone who would and could use it. Sold this as a large canvas print, Jan. 2009, Thanks so much to the buyer, you made my year! July 27, 2009 sold a mounted print, woo hooo…

  • Triple 6 Motorcycles – Death Valley. I get a lot of fun making up spoof garage T shirts.

  • Another shot of my 2 boys while on a shoot at marsh mill windmill in thornton Cleveleys lancashire, the last bit of light was setting behind them, I got them to stay still on their bikes and by using spot metering on the camera and exposing for the brightness behind / them got these great silhouettes of them…. / My wife and myself have a bought a framed print of this shot for Christmas 2008 from Redbubble, check out Our Christmas present /

  • WHY RIDE A MOTORCYCLE? / Motorcycles and scooters emit less greenhouse gas than cars. They also reduce traffic congestion, save travel time, are cheaper to manufacture, more economical to run, and take up less parking space.

  • Having an overwhelming interest in customised transport, I created this piece as a self-caricature (and homage to Mad Max Thunderdome) during the recent upsurge in petrol prices- when it reaches $3 per litre, this is what I’ll look like! I drew the original piece with Indian ink and a brush, and then scanned it into Photoshop where I layered paint and textures over the original linework.
