Mmmmmmm, salt….. / Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni – one of the more surreal cycling experiences. There’s about 5000 square kilometers of this stuff. The only regret I have about this trip was that I didn’t try to ride clean across it – a two day effort by all accounts. Maybe next time.

When I said I want one I mean the bike, the girl would be nice but since I already have one of those the jet bike would be more appreciated (BIG GRIN)

Just another expression done with many adjustments to make this distorted image. I cant help myself! It keeps me out of trouble, and enjoy the whole creative process. Sometimes I get into the simpleness of just a Black & White, but enjoy the complexity of the image I am working with. Hopefully it will be enjoyed as artistic. I am very hopeful to soon having some of my work in a Art Dealer Gallery in Dallas. Thanks to all my friends here on RB, who have contributed to my development, I could not of grown without your support!

Scanned of the negative. There will be heaps more to come over the next few weeks. I hope you like them. Please also visit my website alexkess.com and my photoblog . Cheers, Alex

This rider was coming down a hill and straight in to this puddle which was more of a small pond and then spraying us with mud and dirty water. The shot was taken on my Canon AE1 35mm camera about 20 years ago and scanned into the computer and tweaked in Photoshop Elements 5.
