In my search for Sydney letterboxes ,) I come across moments and opportunities. So, I am beginning a collection of some of these inner City Sydney moments: ‘Blink and You’ll Miss It’ - This image was recently used by DannyNolan in his journal entry EPIC / It’s a great read so check it out. / - Although this might look like a feral inner city cat, he was simply yawning after dozing on a possibly warm motorcycle engine on the first sunny and dry day in Sydney in what seemed like weeks. The other shots I took are friendly and sleepy…but this was a killer. Thanks to MBartworks for the cool title.

While my scanner is on the blink I’ve been going through some of my photos taken while in Shanghai, China in 2006 and found a few with potential. I don’t think I’ll upload too many as photography isn’t one of my strong points, but it is fun to see what you can do with an image and photoshop. This one was taken on the poorer streets of Shanghai, all those bikes just caught my eye!

A Honda Jazz makes its way along a relatively empty Flinders Street on a cold Winter’s Day. Not to sure what I was trying to achieve with this image but I like the result. Exposure was 1/30 sec at f 11 and technique was panning. Cross Processed effect applied in Adobe Lightroom. Click here for my other photos of cars!
