In my search for Sydney letterboxes ,) I come across moments and opportunities. So, I am beginning a collection of some of these inner City Sydney moments: ‘Blink and You’ll Miss It’ - This image was recently used by DannyNolan in his journal entry EPIC / It’s a great read so check it out. / - Although this might look like a feral inner city cat, he was simply yawning after dozing on a possibly warm motorcycle engine on the first sunny and dry day in Sydney in what seemed like weeks. The other shots I took are friendly and sleepy…but this was a killer. Thanks to MBartworks for the cool title.

Once had a seriously long Italian love affair with my Ducati Sport years ago, until my brother-in-law wrote it off! / But…my son-in-law rides one and invited me to play with an idea he had one day. If it’s red and Italian, it’s got to be good!

Still waiting at the start line the riders rev their engines really hard now. The smoke and noise batter the crowds who wait excitedly to see their favourite rider pull away first. This is a great place to get some fantastic candid shots of the riders concentration and the crowd expectant looks. The shot was taken on my Canon AE1 35mm camera about 20 years ago and scanned into the computer. nathan’s bikes mulitply and divide themselves over the terrain. They take the earth for themselves. they take to the hills. they take themselves wherever they like. they are free. They are born to be alive. * / if you looks from a distance, they look interestingly organic.
