I used my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT with EOS Lens 18 -55. / BEST VIEWED LARGE. This is a dream come true for my husband, his first Harley. I wanted to get a memorable picture of him with his prize. I followed and took several different shots. I took these at dusk up our mountain. I love silhouette’s, and you have to get them quick once the sun is gone. Best to use just the dusk colors. I am so happy I did this, because we had to sell the bike. Maybe someday again if age doesn’t stop us, right now the economy hardship and being on the road with the truck, we decided to sell it to someone who would and could use it. Sold this as a large canvas print, Jan. 2009, Thanks so much to the buyer, you made my year! July 27, 2009 sold a mounted print, woo hooo…
Do you think the message she’s sending is too subtle? Hmmm perhaps Hehehehehheeee
My brother inlaw’s Yamaha Roadstar This was actually done in HDR, but I couldn’t stand all the blue reflecting from the sky (note the clouds in the rearview mirror) so I made it black and white (the bike is actually black, so that worked out) and did some more treatments. So to break it down, it is HDR, just edited to the point that it doesn’t have that “HDR feel” to it. Get it? Got it. Good. This piece was featured in the Cars, Bikes, and Motorsports group.
