I’ve woken up, in the middle of the night. Cannot sleep. Turned on the iMac and the only email is from the international florist, in French. / / I clicked on RedBubble and the only bubblemail is from the Paris Group! / / Did I need any more reminding that, at this moment my daughter is, no doubt, back in Paris, where she’s been spending three weeks, with side-trips to Dublin and to the Netherlands ( a friend in Leiden and my aunt in Gouda)? / / In a few more days, she’ll be back to the office, here in Sydney. / On t.v., here, there used to be a voice-over announcement on the multicultural channel, proclaiming: The world’s an amazing place! / It’s also shrunk so much! / While she was in Holland, there was a miss-communication, which was easily fixed, via the mobile phone, to me in Sydney, from her mobile phone, on the bus, between Leiden and Gouda and via my phone and my aunt’s, in Gouda. / / What with the Tour de France reports regularly on T.V., and the reminders, mentioned above, it seemed like an appropriate time to tell the RedBubble World, how much I enjoyed my guided-tour of Paris and how good it is to know that my daughter has friends, in Paris, in Ireland, in the Netherlands and a number of other countries. / And still calls Australia home!!
