  • This piece started as an acrylic painting, which addresses the fact that we can run to the Lord for protection. On the piece, I have written, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower.” There is a tower, or fortress, and people are running into it. All this is set within a landscape with a big sky.

  • ‘War on Terra’ overlaid on a great photo of a Terracotta Soldier with the words “our battle is not against flesh and blood, Ephesians 6” underneath.

  • This oil pastel drawing by Douglas Rickard is based upon Colossians 1:27: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” ~ the Scripture sheds light on how our glorified blueprint is right on the inside of us to receive healing from ~ as a Christian, this T-Shirt could be a great way to explain how Jesus is on the inside of you!

  • ~ ‘Shield’ comes from the word ‘buckler’ and in Hebrew indicates encircling protection ~ the artwork illustrates divine protection in military service for those trusting God’s Word ~ this section of Psalm 119 begins with the Hebrew letter Samek (’s’) which is in the shape of a 360 degree shield ~ the shield of protection appears in the encircling shape of the Samek! The oil pastel drawing by Douglas Rickard on this T-Shirt is inspired by Psalm 119:114: / “Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”
