Sign photographed in the basement area of the derelict Cellulose Paper Mill at Snuggery near Millicent South Australia. “Broke” was the material at the ends of the pulp making process that would break off and fall to the floor below, thus the warning sign….Maybe a warning of the state of the Economy?

The pillars here have very distinctive bee striping round them to attract attention, unlike pillars elsewhere on the site. Pillars elsewhere on the site don’t have a four storey tower resting on them though, so i guess they were just scared that someone might drive a forklift or something into these ones and bring the tower down. This place looks like the landing dock on some spaceship to me though, so im pleased they added the colouring, it gives it a nice effect

My son’s PitBull Pup Rocky; this was taken at only a few weeks old and has always been a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, taken with an older camera, and a smaller image so may only be suitable for cards. Nonetheless, here it is…........I hope you find it as adorable as I did. Oh yes, and I almost forgot to add: Rocky is actually asleep in my Grandaughter’s car seat….very appropriate I think.

Inspired by the story of the German chap who was found by the police in a state of extreme deadness and advanced decay among his very exotic pets. / Spiders. Termites. Lizards. Snakes. / Bettina was the black widow spider held accountable for his death. The whole menagerie joined in the feasting on the corpse, however. / Story here. Not recommended for night time reading.

List young babe – there is a noise in the trees, / Harken their rustles and creaks while you can, / Something is forming and coming to life, / Beware little child of the goblin-tree man. Quiver and tremble, a-shake and a-shiver, / Put out the light and make yourself small, / But dream not of goblin man, whate’er you do, / For he only has power in the dreams of the fool. (essentially, an old tree stump – with a tiny bit of cloning to the right side and a slight darkening of the eyes. I just thought it looked kinda cute)

As you can see part of the floor in this abandoned hotel / hospital has been removed. It has been pared back from the wall in a lot of the rooms here, i think to prevent any damp spreading as this place seems to be about to have a renovation done on it..

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Beware The Bilby Captured this sign whilst travelling along the South Coast Highway, Western Australia. This is the first time I had ever seen a sign with a picture of a Bilby on it. For those interested, I have included some information about this beautiful little creature: Bilby (Macrotis lagotis) This endangered, delicate marsupial has long, silky fur, a narrow head with large ears, a pointed snout and a long tongue. The forelimbs have 4 clawed digits. The hindfeet have a large, strongly-clawed fourth toe and a double claw on the fused second and third toes. They sleep in a burrow in a termite mound, beneath a grass tussock or shrub, sometimes shared by a family group. They emerge after midnight, running with the tail held up like a flag, often standing upright sniffing for insects and fungi, which are dug out with the forefeet. Their diet consists mainly of termites, ants, larvae, seeds, bulbs, fruit and fungi. They inhabit the arid and semi-arid shrublands, spinifex and tussock grasslands of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland.
