Hello! Another week another RedBubble release. This week there’s a couple of new things – the ability to bulk delete BubbleMail and a sneak preview of a the RedBubble ‘private site’. The private site is designed to allow you to create a site showcasing just your work. The thinking behind the private site is that RedBubble needs to evolve into a much more dynamic website. Everyone wants different things from RedBubble. Some folks are here for the learning, some are here to sell, some are here for the positive feedback, some are here to be entertained. Et cetera. We’re never going to be able to create one static site that satisfies all needs, so over the next little while we’re going to evolve RedBubble into a much more dynamic site that people can tailor and adapt to suit their needs. The private site is still a few weeks away from public release, but we’ve got a very very early beta product ready for today and I’ll like to show you all an example and ask for your feedback. The example site can be found here and I’d particularly value general feedback on the new configuration menu which appears to the right of the large images (the menu is still a work in progress) and the options you’d like to see us offer in the private site as we build it out over the next couple of weeks. And finally we stumbled across this review of RedBubble a couple of days ago. We love these reviews and they’re great for improving the Google rank of RedBubble and all the work on RedBubble. So if you feel like writing about RedBubble please ‘go nuts’. The more links back to RedBubble the better. You might also want to check out all the tools for linking to RedBubble available here. Have a great week! Peter

Now that the method for creating private bubble sites is an open secret I guess many people are having a play. I’ve been playing with it for getting on for a month now and the recent changes are really looking good — it’s really come on since the first version I got to play with. Here’s mine. Show me yours. PS: At any given moment mine could look horrible, I’m still messing, still trying to break it. ;-)

  • Chard, Beta vulgaris cicla, also known as Swiss Chard, Silverbeet, Perpetual Spinach or Mangold. I can find no references to ‘purple’ chard so I am assuming this is a colour variant of red chard. Both red and yellow chard were in evidence near this plant.

  • This is the beta male in the little fox community. He’s more shy than the alpha male (Pock), and tends to stay in the brush more, so it’s difficult at time to get a clean shot of him. He’s younger, has a brighter coat, and is even just a bit bigger (by fox standards, that is – he’s still a tiny little guy). This was a cold morning (10F), and he was hunting by the fringes of the meadow. He’s the same fox that quickly scooted out of Pock’s way when challenged, in a previous pic. Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) / Wheatridge, CO / Sony Alpha700 / Sigma 300/2.8 / Giottos tripod, Acratech ballhead, Wimberley Sidekick ISO200, f/4.5, 1/200sec

  • Second single processor attempt with Incendia 1.2 / beta. I wanted the all in the original title on DA, but / it would not fit. If there are any sales of this work, 75% of the proceeds / will be donated to Aexion for further development of / Incendia, and the remainder will go towards a fund to / make the new IncendiaSpace / community a full Pro SocialGo portal.

  • Made in Apophysis 3D using the Linear 3D Script by cabintom. The gradient is my own. /

  • Available in White only. This actually works with 3D glasses. Test it if you can! The black skull floats off the screen. Cooooool!! / I might do some more of these. In Photoshop, the blue is actually a bright cyan, whereas this upload has changed it to more like a summer’s day blue. Not sure why this is happening.

  • A tribute to one of the most beautiful fish in the tank, he’s probably in your tank alone because they don’t get along with one another. Lonely life of a beta.
