A little blue tit resting in a cotoneaster tree filled with berries in my garden in Iver, Buckinghamshire, England.
These wild berries decorated with water droplets are one of my personal favorites. This untouched photo was taken in the woods behind my house on a rainy morning in December 2007 with my old point and shoot camera. I wish the resolution was higher! These small wild berries that grow on a thorny vine are the size of a blueberry. I revisited this batch of berries several times after the rain in hopes of getting similar photos with my good camera, but Mother Nature has not repeated the same conditions. / . 3/9/09 – Top Ten in the Let’s Hunt Water challenge – The Scavenger Hunt group – thank you members!!!!!! Don’t eat them… haha…. This is growing in my front yard, but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. It has pretty blossoms in the spring though. Enjoy!
When I showed him this picture, a friend noticed that the ice drip looks like it’s trying to imitate the frozen berries… What an interesting observation! Isn’t nature neat?! © Cadence Gamache
