  • Ex-Green Beret John Zombo was never able to forget the atrocities he had seen and some of which he was forced to commit during the Vietnam War. Plus he died there and became the walking dead, which is a fairly difficult thing to get past as you might imagine. Upon returning to the United States he is pushed to his limits by an abusive town sheriff, but the sheriff is about to learn that you should never push John Zombo…because Zombo pushes back. Mostly by eating brains and stuff.

  • My last watercolor. I am trying to go more towards an imaginative style with realistic portraits these days, I am trying to avoid the comment I get sometimes which is that it will be difficult to sell a portrait if people are not related to the subject. / Anyway portraiture is what I like to do best. / I used some gouache in the background, the paper is hot press Arches 140 lb. And I used my layering technique where colors are mixed on the paper, you can see step by step demonstrations on my website: here
