The addition of dots allows all shirt colour to show through making this image suitable for any colour (except the really dark ones). / I’ve seen people achieve the same effect on their designs with transparent colours but I don’t think RedBubble can print transparent colours properly and they go a bit blotchy. So this is an attempt at a workaround. Also available- /

I’m gearing up to work on a series a friend has asked me to make using Benday-dots. I’ve never tried this technique, which is surprising since I love comic books. I spent a lot more time sketching this out and working on the symmetry of her face than normal. I figured I should put a little more into this since, unlike most of my works, there are no nipples to distract from my lack of talent. ;) Acrylic on canvas. 18” x 14” Update: I fixed the background and added eyelashes.
