A pair of street lamps I passed today resting after a long night’s work. They are humble folk who just need the occasional seat to help us out. Also part of the series of T-shirts:

Taken in the big park after some heavy rain greened up the foilage. This lily pond is a constant source of inspiration … never fails to remind me of my favourite artist (add a bench, and it is idyllic!!!). / Shot from a similar spot to my Enticement shot. This is a re-work of a previous image. In the original, the door, architecture and old paint work, take centre stage. However I always was struck by the mint coloured bench, and when I found the Bench Group, I thought it a great time for the bench to have a say! Watercolour filter applied to further give an aged feel.

Solitary bench on hill, framed by the setting sun.

Nocturne a musical composition with a dark, reflective, dreamy atmosphere a pensive lyrical piece of music inspired by, or evocative of, the night I paint for you, a place to rest beside me when our feet grow weary of dancing together underneath the moonlight.

Taken on the Byward Market in Ottawa, Ontario. I went there not really with the intention of taking any photos. I decided to throw my camera in my purse anyways seeing that the fall colours have started to come out and thought that the Market might be filled with autumn goodies. As one of my comments below states, although I love the artistry of graffiti, I do not necessarily condone it. What I loved about this is that it was a positive message, which is so rare these days. SOLD in October 2008

Overgrown with stinging nettles this bench sits on the rhododendron covered banks at the mouth of the lovely river Tay in Kenmore, Scotland. Parties mark the start of its famous salmon fishing season here and it looks like the fishermen then waste no time sitting down and just wade in !! :)) See also misty loch tay taken a few hundred yards away where the river goes into the loch.. . a really beautiful spot! / ;))
