I use it to do my stomach crunches and sit-ups. I remembered the movie, “The Professional” and decided to belt myself to the edge of my bed to do my sit-ups, the way Leon did in the movie, until my new stability ball arrived. I ended up hooking a bunch of belts together and thought to myself “Hey, that would make an awesome photo prop!” and the Belted series was conceived. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / visit the rest of this series . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / View All Art » 1 2 3 4 5 6 browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /

Featured recently in DSLR Users, A Vision of Flight, and 5 other groups since being uploaded. Winner in the Best of K Challenge in Alphabet Soup. Photographing kingfishers is a challenge. They are shy of humans. They don’t sit still for long, and when they move, they are very fast. Tracking them is very difficult, requiring lots of patience and good luck. This image was captured at the Oyster Bay Shoreline Park on Vancouver Island, Canada. Nikon D300, Nikkor 600 mm lens, ISO 800, 1/1000 sec, at F8

How many times do you think that a person has died while putting on their seat belt? Someone really needs to put an end to these dangerous, distracting devices. See koudis.com for more

Passion Revisted A Collaboration between Reynaldo and Anthea Slade This is the 3rd Artwork of the16 Painting/16 Drawing Collaboration with the brilliant and gifted artist/painter Reynaldo. It is a great pleasure and honour to collaborate with such a magnificent artist and a beautiful person. Painting: Reynaldo / Drawing: Anthea Slade Specifications of Reynaldo’s paintings are: Acrylic on 140 lb. watercolour paper 24×18” Red: In human color psychology, red is associated with heat, energy, and blood, and emotions that “stir the blood”, including anger, passion, love and pain.[4] The color red is associated with lust, passion, love, and beauty as well. The association with love and beauty is possibly related to the use of red roses as a love symbol.[21] Both the Greeks and the Hebrews considered red a symbol of love, as well as sacrifice.[22] Psychological research has shown that men find women who are wearing red more attractive. [23] (Wikipedia) Garter Belt: Garters are articles of clothing: narrow bands of fabric fastened about the leg, for men to take off with their teeth. Normally just a few inches in width, they are usually made of leather or heavy cloth, and adorned with small bells and/or ribbons. In the eighteenth to twentieth centuries, they were tied just below the knee, where the leg was slenderest. A garter belt is a woman’s undergarment consisting of an elastic piece of cloth worn around the waist to which garters are attached to hold up stockings. Garter belts and stockings continue to be sold in many modern department stores as well as more specialized outlets; a reflection of their enduring role in erotic fantasy. Pink: Pink is a pale red color; the use of the word for the color was first recorded in the late 17th century2, describing the flowers of pinks, flowering plants in the genus Dianthus. Pink itself is a combination of red and white.
