“In hot summer afternoons, dragonflies dance in the warm air. Their acrobatic flight defies gravity. Mastering the power of obstacle avoidance, these active creatures like to rest atop flower stems. Yet, this dragonfly decided to rest on the ground. / / “Seemingly indifferent to my proximity, it remained motionless basking in the sun. “Quietly lying by her barn, this pretty ewe made me stop my bicycle ride to pay her a visit. In a placid cool afternoon, she greeted me with a sweet glance and a calm disposition. Her face was beautiful and her eyes melted my heart. Surrounding a sea of amber and golden hues, her long white eyelashes framed surprisingly bright eyes. / / Taking close-ups on her adorable face, a rainbow of colours and patterns unveiled: the iris wore fine lines defining a gradient of rich earth colours. Her eyes sparked like jewels. “Every morning my pretty Hibiscus greets me offering a new regal flower unfurling. Almost every day the flower is of a sheer fuchsia colour. Once in a while, a flower blooms in a delicate shade of yellow. / / Taking a closer look at this flower, I noticed a visitor quietly sitting in it and embracing it wholy. The long and thin legs touched the petals delicately and remained motionless when I approached. The morning sun rays revealed a Daddy-long-legs comfortably stationed. / / The breeze made the flower quiver. The light played through the yellow petals; it was warm an inviting. My eyes were filled with her regal colours as my heart halted.
