At the risk of looking like a one-trick pony (and a derivative one at that, LOLOL!), I decided to stuff around with the Experimental Jetset idea a few more times and come up with some obnoxious variations on the “John & Paul & Ringo & George.” tees. Here is the obvious starting point ;-)
Original one of a kind digital art creation / / /
I met this man in a small village in Hungary. I have never met before anyone who could have looked in the lens like him.
Toward evening they came to a great forest, where the trees grew so big and close together that their branches met over the road of yellow brick. It was almost dark under the trees, for the branches shut out the daylight; but the travelers did not stop, and went on into the forest. “If this road goes in, it must come out,” said the Scarecrow, “and as the Emerald City is at the other end of the road, we must go wherever it leads us.” “Anyone would know that,” said Dorothy. - The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.

Pastel on pastel paper. Inspired by the word “inscrutable”! I’‘ve always been fascinated by the expressions on peoples faces! Some peoples facial expressions are like an open book! However others hide behind a permanant mask!! It’s the latter that intrigue me the most! Hence “Behind the Mask”! / / featured in Mature Woman

After consultation with Stefan Sagmeister we now have four winners of signed copies of his book “Made You Look” from the Happy Challenge. Before naming names, I want to say what a pleasing project this is. I know it was difficult for many to fit things to the template but the overall result was that we got a wonderful look behind the pencil, paintbrush, camera. Stefan commented on how remarkable the entries were and the overall impact was startling. For me it was a simple delight to see how so many of you see yourselves. And I thank you for your courage. I wish we had more books to give away. But all the entries will be heading to New York where Stefan will be animating them for inclusion in his Happy film. Now … any of you who have anything to do with movies know that filmmaking can be a lengthy process. We will let you know when it is done but unless you have VERY, VERY, VERY big lungs do not hold your breath. The following entries get a book. Paul McClintock’s 3.14159 / ‘ Natalie Perkins’ five / Naf4d’s 5 / and Karin Taylor’s affirmation / There really are too many other remarkable images to try and pick out any for specific mention. But please feel free to post your favourite (maybe even yours with a comment) in the thread below. Pilgrim
Ah,baby, let’s get married, / we’ve been alone too long. / Let’s be alone together, / let’s see if we’re that strong. / Yeah, let’s do something crazy, / something absolutely wrong, / while we’re waiting for the miracle, / for the miracle to come.
