Painted this one back in 2002… oil on stretched kraft paper. Primed with binder medium and gesso. 100cm x 150cm… It is a copy of Egon Schiele painting “the Embace” (my version) ... I was in love at the time and wanted to express it, but the relationship ended before the painting and I lost any passion I had had for it … how strange… anyway, I still like it tho and it was also my tribute to the Austrian painter Egon Schiele. pencil study I did before working on painting … using rub back technique to help created movement in drawing.. /
