This is a composite of a portrait I shot of my daughter dressed in a vintage gown that belonged to my Mother. I styled her hair and make-up to fit the era of the gown. I overlaid a paintable scrapbook paper that I hand painted in oils and used PSCS3 to layer the images and apply the text. Hope you enjoy it!

This Rose Bud waiting to open up for the world to see, was in the garden at the Swan Inn, at the back of Dawlish. / It had a leaf directly above it, like a roof protecting it from the rain, but also shadowing the poor thing. I picked out these roses for my father to give my mother for Valentine’s Day. They’re such a deep red color and the petals are velvety…almost black. I love those type of roses. I used a really low white balance when I shot this to give it a more bluish tone. Enjoy!

These are the same roses from Valentine’s Day with the velvetly petals. I adjusted the white balance on my camera before shooting to give it a bluish tone. It looks like crushed eyeshadow to me…:D Shot with a sigma 105mm macro, indoors with flash. Enjoy!
