ali is a sensual girl. she loves live and love being in the sun. on discovering her power at a deeper level recently, and developing a passion for sexuality, we decided to play with the elements at the estuary in belongil beach in Byron bay, a sunny day and handcuffs. the crossover between submission and being in bondage and the beauty of the surroundings was phenomenal, we were touched by a spirit this day and the camera was a channel for a greater being. when we downloaded, we were without speech… I have a whole series of this shoot, they are many, let me know if you would like to see more, I am sure you will agree.

I think deep down I have a bit of a thing for pirates. When it came time to do this shoot I seemed to have an awful lot of pirate accessories just lying around waiting to be used. It was good to get it out of my system. Only problem is now I can’t stop thinking of excuses to take more pirate photos. Thank you all for your support of this image. It’s a bit scary to put these things out there, and I really appreciate all the comments it’s gotten. This is truly about me – where I’ve come from as a girl, and what I’ve gone through as a woman. I think it’s an image that many can relate to in some way, and as mentioned in some comments, it hits nerves. Rather than explain the photo, I’ll leave it up to the viewer. I think it may mean something different to each individual that looks at it. I don’t want to take that from you. To me, it has an important message. See what you can get from it, and I hope it will benefit you in some way.

At the time of this piece she was still suffering from the effects of her radio-therapy. She has had wodnerful successes and achievements since then, and her beauty shines with health; and with the sweetness that fills her heart.
