One thing I like about shooting Lotus flowers is that they are an interesting and attractive subject in all stages of their life. I think this shot shows that.
-
Again as stated earlier when you can catch a Lotus in full shade or on a cloudy day it helps to bring out the full colors and avoids some of the blown highlights that can occur on a bright day. This flower is sheltered by its large green Lotus leaf which also helps to give the shot a since of place.

A family scene captured of Mom truly bonding with her new baby in this rare and treasured moment when the mare meets her new foal for the very first time. This first time Mom is an Egyptian Arabian mare and foal clearly shown etched and overlaid with just a touch of transparency into an unusual rather abstract background of offset panels textured in rough, leathery and crinkled surfaces with depth of shadows blending pastel shades of tans, greens and salmons. The striking back ground for the etching and panels adds a blend of gradient color and lighting effects together for additional interest and focus into the total scene adding more depth and completeness, creating this sweet, sharing moment in time.

An abstract architecture type design done in various shades and heights of pastel panels which are expressed in various color schemes to best accent the natural peacock feathers. These are actual feathers left behind as the peacock molts or sheds his entire tail. This artwork reflects the basic lines, texture, depth and luminosity of the shadowed panels with just a touch of vibrant black to better draw attention to the beauty of the impressive clear vase and still life arrangement sanding in this beautiful crystal vase which brings even more interest to the total effect. Not only do the panels provide a striking background for the décor, they provide a stand / base for the mix of glass and / or crystal to reflect the shapes and colors in this rare and unusual combination.
