Probably the last of the Opera House shots I’m going to be uploading for a while. This was taken a few minutes after House of Golden Light and just a bit further on towards the Harbour Bridge. There are often lovely sailing boats and things moored down past the Customs House and sometimes you can just be lucky with the light and the framing. In another small while all the light will be drained from this sky and the night lights will come on giving the whole area a completely different look again.

This Little girl and her mother came to me while i was ministering in Kujama, Nigeria. Her mother was in the latter stages of AIDS. I prayed for her and she was healed. At this Point Her daughter looked upwards, as her mother jumped from the chair and was filled with the Holy Ghost, and healed. 100% of all proceeds from sale of all my art goes toward our Charity Projects in Deep Rural Africa. Their Children are cared for by the elder woman, who cannot work. This was taken as soon as the carers saw the mums coming up the village path. they are sure hungry babies. Often Breast milk dries up within a few weeks of giving Birth. There is very little food here, and the scarce food they do grow is extremely poor in Nutrition and Vitamins / .I am inspired by the word of God that teaches us to not just pray for the poor, but to give of our substance to help them. I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Rural Nigeria. / This was late evening, and i asked them to bring a child to me that had rickets, adn the brought 14 that were disabled by this terrible disease. some are not in the photo. I began to pray and the Lord touched me so deeply that I wept for them as I prayed. here are children who have bowed legs and feet adn they to as I was praying were praising God. the village canno grow enough food. this is why we are raising funds to buy a tracor and machinary, so we can help 25 villages grow good quality food. then rickets will be a thing of the past here in rural villages. I was getting ready to travel to ungwa/fada Village to see how they were coping with the new water pump and Grinder we bought them on our previous visit. As I was loading the vehicle, one of my helpers noticed a man carring a woman on his back. We found out later he had walked 6 miles carrying his sick wife. She was unable to move or communicate with us. We carried her into the small hall. Her body was all swollen and she was in great pain. I spoke to her husband through an intrepritor and he told us she was suddenly stricken with sickness a week ago. He was so distraught. I then spoke to Sarah and assured her that God was a God of Great love and compassion, and that he would heal her. I just knew that all were about to see a miracle take place. / Jesus says: / Mar 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. With the help of an Intrepretor We began to Pray. I laid hands on Sarah and began to praise and Worship God. he has anointed me with power over all power of the enimy. It was about 10 minutes later, that Sarah opened her eyes and began to Speak. / It was not the native Housa Language, but the heavenly Language she was speaking, Gift of Tongues. Her legs began to move anddn her arms. 25 minutes later, and Sarah ws sitting up on a chair. This Photo was taken just 30 minutes after the Lord filled her with the Holy Spirit and completely healed her. PRAISE GOD! I spoke to Sarak on 2oth June 2008 Via telephone, and she is well and sharing her Miracle with many. Sarah was healed on 11th December 2007. / This was witnessed by 30 villagers who had gathered outside the small hall. This began as a photo of an actual “Secret Garden” my husband and I found on one of our “Date Days”, there were wood sculptures of insects and many levels of an array of beautiful flowers. This dragonfly sculpture stood watch above the garden and I played with many flower photos and a few fairies to greate the magic that unleashes within my mind’s eye…and voila ;) “In my garden there is a large place for sentiment, my garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. Taken in Tunga/Zuga, a remote village in Nigeria. Mary is aged 12 years old and her mission is to care for her younger brother. Each day Mum and Dad work in the small field from sunrise to sunset. there is no school here and the nearest one is 4 miles away. Children are so precious and I cannot help but think of the great benefits our children have here in England and other developed countries. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Every day Anna travels from village to village begging for food. We spend quite some time talking to her and a few local villagers in the area. The chiefs wife told us that Anna was found two years ago by other children in the fields near the village. For many days they made contact with other villages to see where her parents were, but with no success. Anna gets very little help and a few in the village do at times feed her, most of her time is spend begging in different villages. The chiefs wife also said they decided to name her Anna. Anna is dumb and cannot speak. She cannot communicate except by gestures. We have now moved Anna to a family in a village where we work. the family recently lost their eldest child, and now they care for Anna. We make a small contribution each month for her upkeep. 100% of all money raised from sales and donations via our charity website, goes toward helping these precious people. 100% folks. Taken during a visit to Kaban Village in remote Nigeria. Peace looks after lenti her younger sister,a s mum and dad work in the fields. Every day peace feeds and cares for Lenti. Lenti is extremely malnourished and is showing early signs of Rickets,a Disease that causes the upper and lower limbs to bow and lead to disability and pain. here in kaban village the locals try their best to grow enough food to eat and sell. For a recent exhibition we were given the theme “Arrivals and Departures” In Response I used the words of poet Reverend Father Ernesto Cardenal Martínez (born January 20, 1925) as my starting point. “A universe harmonious as a harp. / Rhythm is repeated equal times. / Heartbeat. / Day/night. / Migrant birds’ arrivals and departures. / Star cycles and maize cycles. / Mimosa opening during the day / and folding when night comes. / Moon and tide rhythms. / And crabs who know the tide is on the ebb / and before it goes out have their hiding holes. / A single rhythm in planets, the sea, atoms, apples / which ripen and fall, and Newton’s head. / Melody, arpeggio, chord. / The harp of the universe. “ I responded with a sculpture of assemblage.
