Just Past Summer It was a time you let go / And caught the wind / Absent a rudder to slice your way through / Just Past Summer, / You let go of wondering how to Love, / You did. / Colors / Blended into one voice / Truth / Beating swiftly / Like cream does to butter. / Just Past Summer, / A fire as big as a sunset / Was started, / Using all the dried up dreams / And the gutter remains. / Rich you said, / Smell the smoke, / Sacred release. / The ashes you spread out like a table / Serving doubt and loneliness / Featuring a cold vichyssoise that had / A hint of Hope. / This hint you said, / Will complement the rest, / Fear not. / Dessert was three layers of / Rich longing, / Covered with a double dark / Butter cream of Love. / Always Love / You said… / Then off you went, / To catch the boat with no rudder, / On a warm Chinook breeze / That took you to Just Past Summer.

Far,far away, where the gum trees grow. / Where the crops are planted, and the river does flow. / From the lush green places,to a dry Summer’s day. / Where the cows peacefully graze, and the lambs are at play. / Where beauty abounds,.......... / ........................
My friend Randy has been blessed to make a living as a cowboy. A hobby that has turned into much more is reciting cowboy poetry at gatherings near and far. This poem is on his first album. I can almost hear his melodic voice now… Ridin’ / by Charles Badger Clark There is some that like the city – Grass that’s curried smooth and green, / Theaytres and stranglin’ collars, Wagons run by gasoline - / But for me it’s hawse and saddle Every day without a change, / And a desert sun a-blazin’ On a hundred miles of range. Just a-ridin’, a-ridin’ – Desert Ripplin’ in the sun, / Mountains blue along the skyline - / I don’t envy anyone When I’m ridin’. When my feet is in the stirrups And my hawse is on the bust, / With his hoofs a-flashin’ lightnin’ From a cloud of golden dust, / And the bawlin’ of the cattle Is a-comin’ down the wind / Then a finer life than ridin’ Would be mighty hard to find. Just a-ridin’, a-ridin’ Splittin’ long cracks through the air, / Stirrin’ up a baby cyclone, Rippin’ up the prickly pear / As I’m ridin’. / / I don’t need no art exhibits When the sunset does her best, / Paintin’ everlastin’ glory On the mountains to the west / And your opery looks foolist When the night-bird starts his tune / And the desert’s silver mounted By the touches of the moon. Just a-ridin’, a-ridin’, Who kin envy kings and czars / When the coyotes down the valley Are a-singin’ to the stars, / If he’s ridin’? When my earthly trail is ended And my final bacon curled / And the last great roundup’s finished At the Home Ranch of the world / I don’t want no harps nor haloes, Robes nor other dressed up things - / Let me ride the starry ranges On a pinto hawse with wings! Just a-ridin’, a-ridin’- Nothin’ I’d like half so well / As a-rounin’ up the sinners That have wandered out of Hell, / And a-ridin’.

Oil painting of the Sussex Downs ,Oil on Canvas 1000mm X 1000mm.
A lonely park bench waiting for company in a cold winter day.
It was foggy Sunday morning. I would usually stay in bed, but it was so foggy that I couldnt pass up the chance to get some shots. I raced in my car to a cemetary near by but the gates were locked so I had to go to a nearby park and make do. It was taken with my Nikon D70, processed in photoshop with very liitle being done apart from being converted to black and white and then a ward filter added. Oh and I went back to the cemetary when it opened and got this….... / http://www.redbubble.com/people/theymademedoit/art/1774916-3-arnos-vale

You give me rainbow butterflies / Your hand touches mine and I feel / The wisdom of oak trees line up / And we walk that lane which shines / Both of our spirits on parade Your wings are vibrating those / Colors that catch the light / My eyes are green to emeralds delight / As you listen for my lead / The one I took from our Spirits creed We make a pack of lovers bliss / That all things are possible with / One soulful kiss / That all who know us or come / Our way / Are blessed with knowing / All things are possible / Today. Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox
