A discarded babydoll cracked from age. It used to be some little tykes love of her life. So beautiful, so precious. If only they could talk.

This photo was badly damaged when I found it in a pile at a local auction. It took several hours to bring out her face, her posed hands in delicate white gloves, her sad eyes, the necklace and her hair done just so. Is she thinking of someone as she poses? Perhaps she’ll be discovered, live the life of luxury or give the picture to her beau? Why is she alone in the photobooth? Sad and beautiful…
