Here is the image following ‘Red Ribbon’. My little girl worked out how to open the heavy back gate and thought she could escape into the big park at the back of our new house. I decided to add this image to satisfy the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what she saw through the hole in the gate!

Captured along the Mount Evans Wilderness in Colorado, this is one of those waterfalls that kind of sneaks up on ya outta the blue, and if you blink, you actually miss it. I really don’t much in the way of long exposure shots, but after being happy with how this one came out, I am going to start doing them more. Hope ya all like it! The Waterfalls in Waterfront Park, Kelowna, B.C.,Oct.25/2007. The colors were very bright and vibrant early in the morning. I sit here quite often and sketch or take photos. It really is a lovely Park. It’s right on the lake too, so in the summer it gets quite busy with tourists and such, but there are times when it is very peaceful and quiet like this day was. I love being able to go for a swim and cool down in the summer months as the beach is very close by. From where I stood to take this shot I was at the back of a small island in this pond where they have a Band Shell type stage set up, and in the summer there are quite often concerts with various bands playing different types of music from Classical to Pop, Blues, Jazz or good ol Rock’n’Roll. The beach,” Tug Boat Bay ” Hosts the yearly Dragon Boat Races, the famous Wakefest and various other functions Including the yearly Canada Day Celebrations. This coming year I hope to be there on Canada day as It will be the Grand opening of the new Floating Bridge across Okanogan Lake and there is going to be a spectacular fireworks display so I hope to get some good photographs there. / Anyways this got a little bit long winded,lol. Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy the photo. It’s one of my favorites.

Mono Lake, California is a place of special beauty. Tufas are limstone formation that only built up under water; because water level has been drained to provide drinking water to Southern California Tufas are now visible outside of water. Mono Lake lies in the High Sierras just outside the eastern entrance of Yosemite National Park.

This beautiful little fellow was one of a group growing on the end of a rotting stick. It is about 7.5mm across. / Found in Cradle Mountain National Park, Tasmania. Unfortunately this crop is not large enough to sell. Look for the full size image to follow.

Towering above at 13,001 feet in altitude, Summit Lake is breathtaking. Showcasing Mount Evans in the background, it displays wildflowers which are found no where else on earth except the arctic circle. Captured in the morning light and processed in HDR, I really wanted to scene to come to life. Well I’m back after working some 15 days in a row on an event. Now that I’m done, I’ll get to sleep and mostly try to catch up with you guys. Anyhow, this is another shot of the Grand Canyon taken this Spring during our road trip. Have a great evening.

Wild deer in Yosemite National Park – USA I spent ages with a group of these deer. Walked slowly to approach, after approx 15 mins i was surrounded by them, couldn’t shoot as they were too close, one just 10cm away, so we just hung out together until the cold drove me inside. Was a beautiful experience. They have the most gorgeous eyes :)) I loved every minute in Yosemite. These photos that I add are dedicated to all those that dont have snow and like it yesterday I went out to take photos of the 25 cm ( 15 inches ) of snow we got in a place here called High Park .. the scenery was absolutely stunning ! When I first got there, I stepped in what I thought was snow but was ice and water ...up to my knees almost ..my feet got totally soaked and I had just got there… I decided OK..damn , Im here Im not going home ..I will go until my feet freeze ..and I did .. 2 1/2 hours later ….it wasnt too bad walking in the roadways but I didnt stay there ..nope I had to go into the deep snow ( past my knees at times ) lol … anyway 3 hours later I went home with frozen jeans full of ice and snow … the temperature was not real warm …below zero ..ahhh the things we do for photos :) I hope my photos are worth my wet feet and that you like them :) If you get tired of snow scenes ..just let me know !
