Yes I know what you’re all thinking…It’s ANOTHER PET DOG!!!!! Don’t panic you arty farty types…it’s only up for a limited time whilst I make some cards for a friends present. Then it will be strictly back to black polo necks and matching berets. Ciao baby. Postscript (Wow I literally just uplaoded this to make cards for a friends birthday. I had no idea people would comment on it! I feel compelled to point out – as those who know me understand – my humour is very dry and ironic. Don’t take anything I say seriously! After having so much fun with the last piece, I decided to try a series of em. I have an idea, but won’t let it out until I’m sure it will work =D This piece is focused on the ability to open up. Being vulnerable to the outside without fear or worry. My creative juices have been flowing since that week of downtime and in a way my mind has opened a little more for me to see inside and to let you see a little deeper. Only in this state of vulnerability can I truly be free, and without limitation on what I do or how I go about doing it.

The brother and sister recognized River from last fall and they both came to say “hello”. The “brand-new” fawn followed suit as her brother and sister seemed to know us and thought of us as “friends”. :) Before they circled my overjoyed dog and they all ran off together, they first make sure that they got their spring morning “family photo” taken. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

A belated description. / This is an ode to unhealthy relationships. Not the ones where you have an argument every once in a while, or maybe lots of little ones all over the place, but otherwise everything is peachy keen. This is to the other kind, even or uneven, where one or the other has to protect themselves, in all kinds of ways. Do they stay and learn how to take it, or protect themselves better? Or do they lose everything except their freedom and fly away? I have placed the ‘fight’ bride in a small area that is cramped and hard to breathe, holding her dress and hair up as a barrier. Whereas our ‘flight’ bride has lots of space to move, is making herself free of the confines of the dress, taking down the barrier.
