Prague is an exceptionally beautiful city. This shot was taken from Charles Bridge, towards Prague Castle. I was glad there was an overcast sky, as it makes this image more dramatic to me. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed it. Perhaps you would also like this one: / My art with 1000+ views
Another HDR image of Prague taken from Charles Bridge. Petrin Tower on the hilltop far right. If you view the larger version, you can see the ghostlike images from the folks walking near the river.

The Gap of Dunloe (County Kerry, Ireland) is one of the most beautiful glaciated valleys in the world. Beginning at Kate Kearneys cottage it extends for 7 miles with the Macgillycuddy reeks mountain range on one side and the Purple mountains on the other. There are 5 small beautiful lakes along the route of the Gap and an old arch bridge called the ‘Wishing Bridge’ Please visit my website at Beautiful Photos of Ireland
This is one of the most beautiful areas in NY. Watkins Glen has so much to offer, nature at its best. /
This arched staircase brings you over a little stream that flows into the gorge at Letchworth State Park. It was beautiful with the leaves starting to change. / /
Snow covered bridge over an icy creek shortly after a heavy wet snowfall. Taken on local park district property which, after 32 years living here, I never even knew existed until I caught the Shutter Bug a few years ago. Bolingbrook, Illinois

Over and under the Calatrava bridge, Venice, Italy. / We were lucky enough to be able to float underneath the bridge as well and I was so surprised to notice that you can see the people walking over it. Most of the bridge walking area is made of glass, and last night I went over it for the first time since it was opened last month and only just realised that there was this interesting photo opportunity. I liked the idea of combining the two aspects in this diptych. / For the left hand image I was able to set up a tripod and focus decently. For the right hand image I was in a boat being tossed around in the Grand Canal beneath the bridge, and had to use an automatic stability setting. Hence the grainy result. Optimal viewing for cards on a black background.

Patiently waiting on a letter from you …. One of those, “Oh, I’m gonna have to stop the car and take this shot” kind of moments. I love how the two left-most trees almost form an arch. Incidently this road is called Covered Bridge Road and leads to Pennsylvania’s Oldest Covered Bridge built in 1830 RIP John. My art with 1000+ views
The path to faith ….. the bridge to somewhere ….. Taken with Nikon D200 and Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens. HDR processing applied.

I have been working on several images recently that I find quite emotionally draining to do.. I posted one of these just earlier today. I find it helps me to ‘take a break’ from this kind of work by photographing particularly macros that are ‘simply beautiful’, and don’t attempt to be anything more than just this. So – to lift my mood – i decided to post another of the images I took this magical morning a few days ago.. A super macro of a dew-covered blade of grass glistening in the very early morning sun. Sony Alpha 350, Sony 100mm Macro Lens, Focal Length 100mm + 3x Extension Tubes, f8.0 @ 1/60 Sec Exp, ISO 100, Handheld. As Is from the camera.

The other factor is that look to the water surface that landscape photographers might know it’s like a oily look to the water that lends itself to wonderful reflective surface. It took many shots of Sydney Harbour this morning, if, and you should have seen the sunrise that followed . WAIT ! yes i have photos of that as well.
