well the plan was to go ‘after’ work to watch my daughter play ‘Tough’ (like australian football?) but i thought i ‘quickly’ check out my friends on the ‘Oval’ too! cause that’s been a while….and when they saw me they where calling me straight away..they where very happy to see me and Susanne ‘big mama’ introduced me to the mob…it was all very nice and we where all chatting together, Susanne asked me ‘when can I tell u storie Miss’ oh no I forgot pen and paper..again..well u make some photos ok from other mob, ...so i did..the baby, the kids ,the uncles..Susanne was rubbing some tabacco with some dried bark together in her hands and put in in her mouth on the side and started sucking and chewing on it…next time u take to miss!.....and bring your daughter too…she playing touch..is close by..u bring her now…and i did..and they wanted foto’s with my daughter too..what a pleasant afternoon this was…Broome, Western Australia

by ingeif you have followed my storie (a bit :) you can see this is part of a series and this the time i took my daughter to the Fitzroy mob at the “Oval”, my daughter (almost) 16 yrs approched the group who where sitting on the grass… with a broad smile and bent down to shake all the peoples hands, they loved it and when this girl shaked her hands my daughter said REAAALY, my name is jasmijn too!! and they thought THAT was great..!! so than they all wanted photo with my daughter…what a fun afternoon..Broome, Western Australia

while i was on the “Oval’ taking shots of my friends, i spotted this young lady playing touch with my daughter, i really liked her eyes but this was a not so willing teenager …but i got the shot i liked, haha, (i played with it in Aperture2) and i am very happy with the outcome (I can’t handle photoshop (yet) :) its very different from original so its great to ‘create’ how u like it… Broome Oval, Western Australia

There was a day I shot photos ALL day, this was in Jodhpur, it was on a Sunday and i had to buy some music for my restaurant, so i found this local CD shop and I installed myself with my camera, drinking chai all day, listening to the music I was buying and in the meantime i just clicked and clicked and clicked..what an indulgence that was,.this lovely man come over to me and asked what i was shooting?..people sir , people, colors..he told me he was travelling through the country with his family , like on a ‘religious’ tour and was very happy to pose for me, so that was easy :)

That day was a special day Watch this Jodhpur, India and many gypsies come over for a party, so i was the lucky one to shoot all these beautifull people. these girls where behind a little foodstall making themselves ready for the next dance..I never really watch the performances , I rather hang around the back and see what happens there..

when i spotted this man on the market in Jodhur i thought i reaaly need to take a shot , cause he’s beautifull, well that was not that easy, he was sitting by himself but was surrounded by women chatting and selling chai,...when i walked towards them they asked me what i wanted…well i want to take a photo of that beautifull man overthere,..they just burst out in laughter, they thought that was very very funny, no you make photos from us…and i did again and again and after an hour or so i finally to managed to took this shot,..well he IS beautifull :)

i always look at feet because in India they love their bangles, I tryed on a pair myself, i thought they would be more heavy, but the metal was very sharp and cut in my legs so i did not get them,..but they are lovely India, Rajahstan

Land Of Pharaohs Kebab-Shop, run by Romani from Egypt and his Dutch wife Inge. Their succesfull business was approached by ‘Getaway’ Holiday and Travel program and they will be featured from September 2008. The busy couple designed and decorated this beautifull shop themselves and Romani made all the wooden furniture and some tables, which are made out of recycled teak and jarrah even have chessboards in them, so it’s great to have a game of chess and while you listen to the ‘lounge’ music you should try their ‘fresh’ kebabs, the beef&lamb souflakis are great and very affordable. And the vegetarian falafels are the best!! Super good coffee for the coffeelovers and browse through this shop . you will find ornaments, artifacts and beautifull handmade lamps, inge has her art work mainly photos enlarged on big canvas and even on postcards, and ‘everything’ is for sale! Friends and acquaintances are the surest passport to fortune / Arthur Schopenhauer Folks.. this photo was taken in the Japanese Garden of the Botanical Garden in Montreal This photo is also about fellow photographers like this Gentleman / CalledSylvain Jubinville (Sylvain33 in RB) / Its often so easy to talk to a person sharing the same hobby .. so when making photo’s I noticed Sylvain walking around with two Canon / camera’s ..one equipped with a white huge 10-400 Canon zoom / Had a pleasant talk with Sylvain about Photography.. asking him: What you do with your photo’s Sylvain? / Not much realy John ..was his reply..I post on Face Book but thats mainly it..
