The original artwork is done in acrylic on stretched canvas. This was painted on a cold windy winter night a few years ago, and I wanted to paint something that will warm me up. What better way than a nice cosy blanket with swirls and colours! Enjoy!
This is a compilation image of a flock of Canada geese and the sun setting behind the San Juan mountains in southern Colorado.
Beautiful fractal art with psychedelic vivid color.

This is a macro that I took today of a flower in a pot plant which I was given. I just liked the vivid colour, the abstract quality and that this image is totally untouched and 100% natural! Ohh, and take the time to view it larger to see the tiny dew drops on the petal :o)
Beautiful colour and texture on a building in Essaouira, Morocco.
PLEASE NOTE: This picture has been turned upside down, so that the sky is actually the water and vice versa. “There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” Edith Wharton (1862 – 1937) Edit: Minor saturation/ Flipped upside down
Tiny dandelion seeds against a colorful paper… Enjoy!
Another experiment with a spring and using a CD as a reflective background. More experimenting to come with these! :D Enjoy!
Taken in ‘Roman woods’, Cambridge. NOT ‘as is’
Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!

I am still working on the other images in this series. I like challenging myself in new ways, with my self-portraits. And i thought it would be interesting to see if i could make it look like i was interacting with myself . . . in some way. I shot this series against a green screen. The background was taken from a photo-shoot i did at an industrial site in Seattle, Washington. The watchman was kind of enough to let me onto the grounds and gave me a tour and all access pass with my camera. I wanted to convey the extreme sadness i feel with manic depression. Over the years i have discovered that sadness is often anger, spread really thin, masquerading as melancholy. Anger is an emotion i have a very difficult time allowing myself to feel and express, i often repress it. As a child i was not allowed to express my feelings or my anger. There is a detachment that comes with sadness, a disconnect from the self, from the world . . . BUT i am in a good place at the present moment and i am getting better at managing the emotional tidal waves that manic depression brings. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / You might also like . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /
Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear. ~Unknown Samsung GX20 Pentax 50mm macro
These amazing little orange mushrooms are a variety of Marasmius…some of the worlds smallest mushrooms belong to this family. / The height on these were almost 2 inches…the cap only about 1cm. / Found on a NE Kansas foray on a property COVERED in woods…A first-time find for me. Most everyone else had stepped past them as they’d seen this species in several other spots. I guess I was slow. We had about 15 people on the hike including my son and another member’s granddaughter. A GREAT hike…starting with an amazing amount growing on HORSE PUCKY! I couldn’t have driven home happy right after seeing that display. I tend to walk slowly so everyone was done except the leader of our group who stayed back with me to hunt (probably because he was afraid I’d get lost).
