For the past week or so I have been in a real deep funk. Won’t go as far as saying depressed but overwhelmed by the feeling of unhappiness. I sketched this out last night about midnight and felt that it was worth throwing up here. I wanted to capture how I’ve been feeling and this happened to pop out. No preconceived idea of what I was aiming for and was at the will of my subconscious. As you see in the image, I am gripping onto one of the only things that make me happy, and no matter how hard I squeeze, it still feels like it is slipping away. What IT is, is not important, because it can be anything that brings you any kind of joy. And as you see, without that happiness and that “constant”, I am nothing. Along with my happiness I myself begin to slip away into the darkness, hoping to meet my happiness at the bottom.

A little while ago, Mel asked me to design a tattoo for her, and this is a colour version of it! It includes a portrait of her and a daffodil, chrysanthemum and marigold which are the birth flowers of her children! :) Hope you like it Mel! It would be super cool on a tee too! :) Let me know ;)
1st Entry for Pulp Noir Challenge 2 – Vice Versa Based off of the character portrayed in Killer Silk, a story by jcmontgomery. This temptress lives her life on the edge. Sex, drugs, fast money…all that Jazz. And don’t try to do her in. She may be a sexy vixen but she’s smart enough to do you in first. Hence the piece in her left hand…

Had this piece on here before, edited it, it’s my modern take on the Disney princesses, can you guess who is who? :)

Illustration with beautiful girl on a floral background
The White Queen / Artist: thickblackoutline / Biography: Danny / The White Queen, Her Bishop and the University of the Gears… Artist Interview: thickblackoutline The Queen of the White army are bred to inspire and lead in Battle. Incredibly powerful, she has the King’s ear on all matters and her scepter gives her limited control over the Angel as well as the University’s supernatural creatures. / The Queen is in constant communication with the University due to the large role it plays with the army flank ultimately under her control and she is privy to much information. / The least of which is her knowledge that the King spawn are actually creations from her own gene pool predominantly mutated and rejected versions that hold no resemblance to herself. In a Kingdom that means exactly that. A King –dom. A Queen is expendable no matter how skilled or loved. / With this thought always plaguing her she is also wise to the fact that the King is in an almost self-destructive mode and offering up the kingdom to fight in the Galactic Battlefield – an unhealthy state of affairs for their survival. Fighting for your borders is one thing, fighting for your world’s very existence another entirely. /
Another shapes inside shape design. (just love creating them). This was created using vector shapes as well as some of my own. This song has been my own personal little anthem for over 10 years that always gets my heart through everything /
