Another view of the same delightful gerbera that I posted a few days ago. Underneath can be quite beautiful as well. Macro photograph taken with aperture priority. The lighting is perfect for these type of shots just inside my front door entry. With crystal leaf glass in my front doors providing a beautiful and soft muted light for these flowers. Usually before 7.30am the light is good, any later and it fades quite dramatically. Macro photography is my passion!!!
Picture taken right outside my front door in Venice Beach, CA
A Brazilian Butterfly. This was taken while i was ministering in Brazil. This is what happens when I get flowers- I smile, take care of them and arrange them, and then I get out my camera to take lots of pictures! I love flowers, especially roses- simple yet complex, delicate, eternal beauties. I tried to show that in this image I created in photoshop, and just looking at it gives me a feeling of serene happiness. Hope you enjoy it too! / / / See other flowers

I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It was really a blessed boat trip. visit: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/

Taken in Tunga/Zuga, a remote village in Nigeria. Mary is aged 12 years old and her mission is to care for her younger brother. Each day Mum and Dad work in the small field from sunrise to sunset. there is no school here and the nearest one is 4 miles away. Children are so precious and I cannot help but think of the great benefits our children have here in England and other developed countries. Please help us to help those in rural and isolated villages in Africa. Thank you to all of you who have donated and prayed for little Grace. She is now in good health and has made a great recovery. Praise God, I am so happy right now. Grace and other children who suffer so much Inspires me to work 12-14 hours per day sharing their plight with others and fund-raising.. I have not had the good fortune of ever having a salary for what I do. but God rewards me in many other ways. To see a child tat would have died now live and smile is wonderful. To empower the poor with more than just hope is what I live and work for. In Tunga/Zuga village, a remote village in Kebbe state Nigeria, there are so many children who are without ANY source of help. The village has no source of clean water, since their well collapsed in 2006. Intestinal worm infections, river Blindness, Chronic Diarrhoea, Malnutrition and other preventable diseases are killing and disabling many. We are making a difference and with your Prayers, Donations and support we can not only save their lives, refurbish the old school adn give them education. If it had not been for your prayers and donations for Grace, she would certainly have died. I am deeply thankful to you all. We can make a difference. / Please continue to donate and support these precious people and this mission. You are part of Gods end time plan. A passion for purple , a passion for love….a sweet VALENTINE for you :) I whisper to the wind , watch over my love while he is away. My eyes are a window to his soul and his to mine. One glance is all I need from my sweet Valentine.
Macro of a red rose with waterdrops taken with a Samsung GX20 and a Sigma 50mm macro lens. Straight from the camera (except for the RAW conversion process). Roses are ancient symbols of love and beauty. The rose was sacred to a number of goddesses (including Isis and Aphrodite), and is often used as a symbol of the Virgin Mary. ‘Rose’ means pink or red in a variety of languages (such as Romance languages, Greek, and Polish). A red rose (often held in a hand) is a symbol of socialism or social democracy: it is used as a symbol by British, Irish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Brazilian, Dutch and other European labor, socialist or social democratic parties. This originated when the red rose was used as a badge by the marchers in the May 1968 street protests in Paris. The White Rose was a World War II non violent resistance group in Germany. A bouquet of red roses is often used to show love. It is used as a Valentine’s Day gift in many countries. On St George’s Day in Catalonia people offer dark red roses as gifts, especially between lovers. The Virolai, a hymn to the Virgin of Montserrat, one of the black Madonnas of Europe, begins with the words: “Rosa d’abril, Morena de la serra…” (April rose, dusky lady of the mountain chain…). Therefore this virgin is sometimes known as “Rosa d’abril”. The red rose is thus widely accepted as an unofficial symbol of Catalonia.
PLEASE READ THIS. Taken in a Gypsy settlement close to Kallakurachi. India. Some of you will know me through my Writings and photographs of Extreme poor in Remote and Rural villages in Africa, and correspondence here on RB. God called me in 1994 to go and share his Message with the poor, disadvantaged and outcast, I have with great passion and little Financial support being doing what he has commissioned me to do. [My Passion in life is to reach as many poor and disadvantaged in Remote and rural villages with the Gospel of Jesus, and provide practical help and care]. I have with the help, Prayers and support of precious people worldwide been able to not only share Gods message of salvation, but provide Tools, Clothing, Bibles, Some School fees, Seeds, Medicines and other needful things to empower them to live better lives. Recently here on RB in the past two years, God has blessed me with many new precious friends. I thank God for you all. In Uganda during 2001-2003, God used me to expose Children being sold by extremely desperate and poor families, to those who had money and who they thought would give their child a better life. I detest this, yet in most cases, not all, the parents or carers could no longer provide for the child. With their government unable, or unwilling to help, they look to those outside their community and tribe for an answer. In India where I and the Philadelphia Charity are now working with NARI-KOR-AVARS gypsy tribe, I came across several cases of children for sale. I personally have been offered children. One for sale and one to take home to Britain and care for her. The reason why I am sharing this with you is that the above Photograph is of one such child. Some of you will experience feelings of Unbelief that this happens, and others strong emotions of anger and disgust. I am asking you to have a thought for the Mother of this child and pray for her. In extreme poverty, Outcast from Society and treated lower than a dog, almost everywhere she goes. She has tried her very best to provide food and shelter. She is sick in body and wept genuine tears of sorrow, as she asked me buy her child for for 5000 Rupees = $100. Please help us to help these precious parents and carers with tools, seeds, Clothing, income, practical help, so tey never be in the position of giving away or selling their child as a last resort to saving that child and giving it a better future. This is happening not just in India or Africa, but in other countries also. Some sell their children purely for selfish gains. But I have not yet met any. those I met are heartbroken and doing something that must be unthinkable to any of us . 100% of all money raised from sale of any of my art, or donations made via our charity website goes to help extreme poor in Africa and India. PLEASE STATE IF YOU MAKE A DONATION VIA BMAIL, IF YOU WANT YOUR DONATION TO GO TO INDIAN GYPSIES AID OR TO EXTREME POOR IN AFRICA.
