She wears a traditional chinese costume with her feet slightly turned in. Flowers in her crazy ‘updo’ hair secured with a couple of chopsticks! Chinese Red Fan Girl stands before a warm glowing screen, patiently waiting for her little friend from Japan, ‘Little Blue Kimono’ to arrive. Chinese Red Fan Girl wears a pair of geta on her tootsies, a gift from ‘Little Blue’ The kanji symbols in the background on the screen translate into ‘One’s Dearest Wish’ There is also a card available in this design Little Red Chinese Fan Girl Card /

Ancient Silk / from the Asia Series by Karin Taylor / from an original pencil, ink and charcoal illustration and digitally coloured / I’ve taken ‘The Silk Princess’ and ancientified her with a textile look / My aim – simply to create the appearance of an old scroll-type textile document that may have been found buried in an ancient chinese tomb…..subsequently unearthed by archeologists, a lil something ancient from a ‘dig’... / something special to hang on the wall….

But don’t lose heart, Beloved Soul, the Lord holds you tight in His arms. God’s angels encamp around you; their wings gleam with the precious blood of redemption. / The Bride’s clothes are all the color of blood, blooming in the red roses of unconditional Agape love. True love grows in us only when the soul goes through the fire of trials. The words of Psalm 97 grace the Lord’s garment: “The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side.” / (Ps. 97:1-3) / The black lining of the Groom’s scarlet cloak is the shadow of death defeated by His love. The Bride’s black pendant is the seal of her choice to follow the Lord to the end.

My Harlequins are acting strange because they are “dying”, becoming extinct…we don’t want them anymore, we don’t need them anymore…:( / People forgot to laugh, people forgot to smile…the society does not make any effort to bring back the “rainbow colored” good disposition. / The Harlequins have so much to give to us, all we need to do is take it…all they want to see that we are happy. / Why to live if we can not give…..?
