Macro shot of a multicolored leaf.
Here’s one I took today… I like it for it’s simplicity. This leaf also was placed on a mirror.
Straight out of the camera with this one. No editing needed (at least i didn’t think so).

I’m bored, have a head cold and I’m stuck at home so I had to try and use my imagination with what I had around the house! I don’t know if I’ll keep this one up, I want to try and perfect it. It’s actually just a water drop on top of a tiny bougainvillea flower.. This can give you an idea of how tiny this actually is! Ohh, and this has not received any post processing.
I picked this rose out of my garden today (smells amazing by the way!!), decided to play around with lighting and this was the effect I achieved. Anyway, I like this one for a first attempt so I thought I will put this one up for a while to hopefully get some constructive criticism.. Also, I would love to know if this photo is to dark or light, I was trying to re-calibrate my monitor and I think I’ve might of messed it up! Anyway enjoy :o) P.S this photo is 100% natural… / Shot with Nikon D200
Taken at around 12 AM in my yard. / The grass was due covered and I used an external flash to light up the background.
I was going to add this one to my after the rain calendar…but didn’t so I thought I will try it on for size on RB!

Another of my mom’s marvellous roses – her whole garden was just so beautiful after the rain that I couldn’t stop taking photographs, everything was so magically enhanced by the strings and strings of water drop beads. “Life is like a rose….More exquisite and precious when shared with others.” / Jane Oechsle Lauer —quote kindly provided by Bill -- thank you!
