City of Glass / RoyAllenHunt © January 4, 2008 Built upon a futurescape, the transparent citadel sits risen from the ashes of destruction. Gathered sands blasted with an atomic heat. Blown cool by the desolate winter remains of our arrogance. Awaiting its tenant children, who’ll first care for then fashion to their own design, its pristine beauty sees imminent decline. Taken with my old Sony DSC F717 and digitally enhanced with Photoshop /
Vancouver is a coastal city and major seaport located in the Lower Mainland of southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Lima, Peru some parts of town are not for you - Canon EOS Rebel XT
This is the Pseudo HDR version of ‘City Rail’ Be sure to check the original un edited version of this image, the HDR process really brought this too life but i was still unhappy with the blown out sky through the windows, I ‘borrowed’ some sky/clouds from another image of mine ‘Paradise City’ / and used layer masks to blend the sky in. Added a cracked glass texture to the windows to give them a more real look to match the graff and dirtyness of the whole image….the reflective highlights from the original sky were also masked and played with the hues to get more of a blue reflection to compinsate for the new sky. Not sure if i want to keep playing with this or not, i tried adding some birds through the windows but i just dont know….any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
I loved the way these freesias stuck their necks out to create a little color against the bleak sidewalk. I have added a bunch of crap to make it more gritty. All textures are mine.
Taken at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in OKC. Very beautiful place to visit! Even with the camera shake…due to lack of good light. lack of tripod and lack of a steady hand lol…I still love it! I dare say I prefer it! Sometimes imperfections make something perfect… Nikon D80
