Another image from Seal River in Manitoba Canada. The polar bears are learning to hunt Beluga Whales in the Spring. One small whale will sustain a big bear right through their Summer “walking hibernation.” This bear is waiting for the edges of Hudson Bay to freeze and go hunting for Ring Seals.They look cute and cuddly but you are definitely on the menu up here.

We fell in love with this beautiful young Pola Bear at Seaworld today, at one point he put his paw up to the glass..when I put my hand up to the glass…and we had a “moment” it was amazing… : ) Hope you like the pic! Wen x

Did you know, that a polar bear’s skin is black…and that the fur is actually clear? When sunlight shines thru it…it makes it look white while heating the dark skin. / This, however, is just a simple mushroom. A member of the Russula family, it stains black with damage. This is the first year I’ve seen these but they seem to be rather common in my area. / Stinky fellows too!
