Yesterday I did a photo shoot with the one person around to model (me) and the one hat I have for the Boredom Compeitition- I ended up with a bunch of photos with great expressions :) Perhaps not the most artistic work from me but portraits (or self-portraits) aren’t really my thing… so I guess it is good that RedBubble is getting me to try new things! /

So, thanks to the suggestions of Richard Veal I have now created a black and white self-portrait… quite a stretch for me because I am not too fond of portraits or black and white. “Hiding” didn’t look so well in B&W so instead I took a new portrait with better lighting :) I am always happy to hear any suggestions for improvement! /

Here’s the T.I.M i wanted to make! i didn’t add the chain.. tried to draw it, but it end up looking more like umm.. vines.. so no chain, sorry.. :P Zoom in to see the text on the rings.. am working on digitising another sketch now.. it’s kinda like a comic thing.. so i guess it’ll take quite awhile (havin flu).. i won’t be using my wacom till i get my hubby (pc) fixed.. this laptop can’t take too heavy duty.. I was watching a particularly grotesque horror film last night, called ‘Inside’ and the main character was such a frowny face even before she was being attacked by some crazy woman that wanted her unborn child. So I started doodling while I watched it. This is the result. It’s not a direct likeness of the girl, but it’s similar. In case you can’t tell, I love fringes.
