As I stood in awe of the show unfolding before my eyes and ears with that irrepressible scent of the ocean I could not help but think that it’s no wonder that on an evening such as this that this is a coast has being enjoyed for fishing, surfing, walking, birdwatching, kayaking and peace for generations… With the largest desalination factory in the southern hemisphere proposed basically at this location….If only the ‘powers to be’ in Victoria could experience this – how could anyone build a gigantuous desalination pollution factory here ? ? ? / Latest info @ yourwateryoursay.org Fuji G617 – no cropping,no stitching. • I have always loved Sea urchins and have always collected them from when i was a child right up into adulthood. They would be the first thing I would look for when I got out of my car and my feet hit the sand on the beach. • Edited version… / Hm, pretty simple design so I hope I haven’t done something too similar to anyone else. / Don’t usually draw animals… Thought I might draw a beached whale though when I found the picture of all the orca’s stranded in tasmania. I heard it’s caused by noise pollution, but am not witty enough to come up with something related to that. (older version had really bad proportions – the whale in comparison to the girl. I’m not sure if this is much better though) Thank you for all the comments :)

  • Lover’s Key is a small group of mangrove islands located in Lee County between Ft. Myers Beach, Fl, and Bonita Beach. It’s right on the Gulf of Mexico. The islands are collectively known as Lover’s Key State Park (formerly Carl E. Johnson Park). Inland backwaters full of fish, birds, and marine life, separate the islands from each other. Boats with motors are not allowed within the Park, but motorboats are allowed in the Gulf and Bay waters surrounding the Park, and there is a boat ramp within the park. This is to protect the abundant wildlife, which includes -manatees, dolphins, various herons and roseate spoonbills, ospreys, bald eagles, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, snook, mullet, rays, and a large variety of shellfish. a real friend is someone who takes a winter vacation on a sun-drenched beach and does not send a card —Farmer’s Almanac
