You will not see this on Venus, Mars, or Titan, water in a delicate balance, stirred up and cycling between liquid and vapour , creating us all, so we can see, appreciate, and just be. / Stormy weather on the 90 mile beach.

I recently came across the program Image Composite Editor (ICE) Which is a free panoramic stitching software and I decided to put it though it’s paces with this multi row panorama I took at Mettams Pool Beach which is a popular beach in the Northern Suburbs of Perth. The photo consists of 38 15 megapixel photos which were stitched in 5 separate panoramic images, Then I stitched all 5 panoramas to create the final panorama. The final result is a whopping 327 megapixel panorama! There doesn’t seem to be any misalignments using the software, And it managed to put together the final image in very little time too. You can download Microsoft ICE Here EOS 500D.

I enjoyed being a momentary witness to the slow blending of elements as this old water boat becomes more beach than boat in its gradual decay…. love the preservative power of photography..
When I spotted these two empty chairs on the beach, on a cloudy, moody day, I wondered where the occupants may have gone to… One song came immediately to mind, hence the title: Chris Rea – Looking for the summer :-) (Bognor Regis, South UK, mid-August…) [Sony a350, Sigma 17-70@26mm, f:10, 1/.125, ISO-100]
