The light was changing every minute. I climbed over some huge rocks to get into a great position to take some surfing shots, when suddenly this huge cloud covered up the sun. Suddenly the beautiful light illuminating the waves the surfers were riding was gone. I looked to my left and noticed the light here. Quickly, I grabbed my stuff and setup this shot…..only got one frame, because soon after this the light here was also gone. ’’Asian Series’ card by Karin Taylor Sea Poppy is a dear little oriental nymph like creature who rides the wild oceans on the back of a dreamy dolphin. What a life! She is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, charcoal) imbued with love and affection by her creator.

Tried to give this a washed out 1970’s polaroid look. I first saw this pier when I was 7 and felt very nostalgic photographing it on Monday night in the wind and before the rain…... hence the nostalgic look of the photo…..dont think its changed in 31 years…....
