I believe this was my first early wake up to go out and shoot a sunrise seascape. Only a couple of weeks back we were at Narrabeen with friends. It was a late afternoon and I just could not believe the colour. I was determined to come back with my camera. That particular morning was just magic. Perfectly still, mild and the colours did not dissapoint. Photo Taken: 23-Jan-2006 / Time: 50:30am / Conditions: Great sunny morning / / / / / / / / / / / / Some other seascape art: / / / / / / /
A planned get-together with a mate fell through. So instead my son and I went to North Narrabeen beach and took advantage of some magical light and conditions to capture the coast during winter time. / For a very long time this image was my favourite. I was just amazed at how much light was absorbed by the wooden planks, contrast that with the smooth silky water. This image was taken @ Port Willunga at the remains of the old jetty. On a recent journey back to Port Willunga recently, I’d noticed that many of these posts had been burnt. A fun stunt at the time I suppose :( Best viewed on a black background. Images from Australia / Architecture / Images from Japan / Sunsets / Water Scenes

Taken at Happisburgh on the Norfolk coast. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to capture the sunrise :( / Got a handful of shots that almost justified getting up at 5am on a Sunday!
Old break waters at Zeally Bay in Torquay. Taken on the 20th of January, 2008.

Taken in a Winter’s storm, last light at Grange Jetty, South Australia. The wind was wild. I managed to steady the camera with a tripod behind one of the pylons and with the shutter speed slowed down, caught the magic of the waves moving in the foreground. The sun shining through the jetty as I pressed the shutter, gives this image a sureal feel. / /
I love jettys. They’re so open and inviting. If you like this, you’ll love my Australian Beaches Calendar!! You can get this shot and 11 other beautiful beach shots for just $30 :) /

The Dark Hedges. On a street close to Gracehill Golf Course, south of Ballycastle in Antrim, Northern Ireland. These are 300 year old beach trees and are getting to the end of their natural life span so they wont be around much longer.
A portrait version of this shot These are 300 year old beach trees and getting to the end of their natural life. When touring around Northern Ireland we were lucky enough to see a couple of photos of this place and eventually managed to find a toutrist info person that knew where they were. So with the sun low in a September sky we headed out and found possibly the most stunning bit of road I have ever been on in my life! Sony Alpha A200 18mm
