  • Raasay and the Inner Sound from An Cruinn-leum on the Applecross peninsula, Scotland, as a storm approaches the mainland over an ever more angry sea from Skye and Raasay. The beach had not a soul on it, and few footprints – had it been warmer, I would have gone down to the waterside and taken a second shot of this…....I’m glad I didnt, as it stayed for hours when it arrived. FOR FULL EFFECT, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO VIEW ENLARGED Ta.

  • My newest photo compilation. The scenery is a long exposure photograph taken minutes before sunrise on Walkerville beach in Victoria, Australia (see Tide and Painted Sunrise for other photographs from the same beach). The birds were photographed just after sunset from my backyard last week, I knew I could use them for something more interesting then them by them selves. Also a gentle texture was added to enhance the mood. / Hope you like it. Canon EOS 450D EF-S 55-250mm Converted form RAW

  • Large canvas painting of a beach sunset in acrylic. Painted for a friend’s birthday. I have already painted a similar painting in watercolour. I am pleased with this version. I love sunsets and sunrises with the warm colours, as does my dear friend and here’s hoping she will like this special gift when she opens it on her birthday on Boxing Day!
