THIS COUPLE WERE WALKING ALONG THE WET SAND DURING A SUNSET ON TENBY BEACH WALES. TROUBLE WAS THE BACKGROUND WAS NOT SO GOOD. THE SUNSET IN THIS SHOT WAS ON ANOTHER BEACH WITH WET SAND. PERFECT. I took a trip up to Lancelin about a 1.5 hours North of Perth, Famous for it’s large sand dunes, And is a popular destination for offroaders, And a good place to go sand boarding. This shot was taken just before sunset. Taken with my 5DMkII and 24-105 f/4 IS L lens, f/8.0, ISO 100, And Polarising Filter. When my children were young we used to visit Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on our way to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our last trip through I decided I would do some paintings of the less picturesque aspect of our trip. . . painting images of the tourist trap nestled at the base of those beautiful mountains. Of course the kids love the painting because it sparks deep fond memories of our family trips together. After nearly two years of on and off painting on Beach House, it’s ready to debut.
