Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.
I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

healing slowly as I traverse the path of the broken hearted….. A special thanks to Dale Crum for the inspiration and the title…. stock credit: / MJRANUM for the wrestlers, / and faestock for the beach scene “Poison –BY—Love” / BY: Dale Crum / Betrayal… the blackest of black… and vilest of vile / When love abscesses… and festers a while / Blood smeared grins… unseen in the night / Sinking mud up to chins… embedding our plight / Wings snapping to pieces… and feathers on fire / Believing we trusted… false waters grew higher / Foaming up putrid lies… blinding our eyes / Curved fraudulent fangs… piercing our thighs Bleeding our soul… of the poisons of love / Lest ye never again… know the cooing of doves / For the fruit of the evil… putrefies all the rest / Forced holding of cards… all too close to the chest / Now therein lies the rub… Oh to trust once again / Of black flapping wings… wrenching back weary chins / Then how shall we conquer… this fear of the fire / When a stirring is heard… of wet embers desire? If we no longer venture… toward the warmth of heat / For dread of the burning… of betrayal’s repeat / Then do they win… those who ripped out our hearts / And keep us from feeling… romantic knew starts / How could we allow… them to steal more our joy / When we are no longer their… whimpering toy / So rise up from the muck… and wash off the mire / May our cooperative venture… new lovers inspire!

A lovely RB lady member spoke to me yesterday and told me of the plight of a country, What i heard and saw on the net was not nice. A place where horrible things are happening. I thought in work today of something that came to mind, but, Instead of naming the country, or the RB member, I decided this was my view on any country which oppresses its people in any way. It is just something that came into my head, The photo is one which also came straight into my thoughts to go with it. I hope it is not too silly. Standing at the shoreline, The waves gently lapping at her feet. A moment of peace snatched from chaos. Her mind drifts from the carnage of the oppressed, Gone for that moment her countries aggression, one which is buckled down upon one knee from the peoples suffering at the hands of its own government. / She takes in the salt air, a difference from the decay,Of the rotten corpse lain in the street,The man stumbling aimlessly with blood covered eyes, A hole where a soldiers bullet kissed, Of the child crying, Whose parents have just been snatched from her, She wont hear her mother singing to her again. / She knows she must return, and turn her back on the sea, and wonders if there will ever be an end, An end to the sights which should never have been allowed to become normal to her. Thanks to my lovely daughter, my best friend, for letting me take this image, I asked her to stand in a dispondant way, looking out. / Rachael, you are my inspiration cariad !
