Pastel 37cmx27cm 2008 on Lavender Canson paper Painting donated to Charity auction to raise funds for children with cancer. One of our local attractions – South Crowdy Beach ( or back beach, as the locals call it) is about 3 & half hours drive north of Sydney. The main beach is located on the other side of the headland at Crowdy Bay, a popular site for fishermen & tourists.

You can hear the ocean’s roar in a seashell. Seashell in chalk pastels on watersolor paper. / I first sketched this out in pencil for my students to show shading.
