I set my sites in the direction of the beach. / My flying isn’t very stable. / I’m still singing that “I’m flying! I’m flying!” / I fly upside-down and backwards. / This seems to work OK. / I move slowly toward the beach. / The feeling of flying is very nice. / I either wake or I continue to dream I’m Flying!
This was a photograph taken of myself by a friend on Shanklin beach, Isle of Wight. We were having a bit of a party for my girlfriends birthday and decided to go skinny dipping. The original image was very dark and poor quality so I just tuned it up a bit- i think it looks cool from a distance, but not close up…it’s one of those pictures! (Sold group- sold a poster of this)

Her name is Avis. She came to me in my portrait studio one day when I was set up on O’ahu. Her face was captivating! This image has been on several magazine covers already. My original shot was on Kodak TMX; hand printed; sepia-toned; and hand-colored.

Original Artwork 40×30cm Acrylic on 300g Cold press art paper Live, love, dance, party, celebrate…. with colors of intensity… I was inspired at the beach and actually painted this at the beach. My daughter was 15 years and beginning to have her first girl/boy relationship… there ws one boy who had his eye on her nd she had her eye on him. He was always playing basketball and she was always hanging out near the bball court (at the beach resort)... So in this painting, the male figure has a sort of basketball spinning up in the air, while he’s trying to impress the female, who has a kind of hula hoop round her waist which represents the basketball hoop…SCORE! Part of a series of dances…. / / / / / / / Visit my Zazzle Gallery
