To me, this photo symbolizes the beautiful journey of a father and son through life.. Silhouettes are my favorite thing to capture, there is so much emotion without even seeing facial expressions.

Ok… so I decided to work on an abstract I am more comfortable with. Unlike my last entry this is a representational abstract, acrylic on canvas, size is approx / 78cm x 62cm. These dirty coffee cups were taken with a 5×4 medium format camera and tripod. The black and white film was developed by me in the darkroom and printed. I then scanned the print and changed it to sepia. I then added a layer of texture too. These were taken at Grange Beach, at the cafe, in South Australia, Australia. This shot was featured in the Happy Haven group, the All Things Coffee group and the South Australian Artists group.
